Take 5, D.

Week Notes, 2025-04-20

Weekly Features from April 14th - April 20th:

🤒 Last week's trip to Iowa had an uneven balance of passengers. I drove by myself to Iowa, but on the way back, I brought along a cold or seasonal allergies. Said illness lingered around most of the week, with today being the first day in a while where I am feeling normal. I no longer have that lovely coat of phlegm on my tongue that dulls everything I eat or drink, and my sinuses aren't as stuffed up anymore. The bad news about the cold is that I was more or less homebound all week, so my "meatspace" socializing was quite light. Shoulder rehab and dentist appointments were either canceled or rescheduled, respectively. My only major social event was attending Pascha/Easter services on Saturday 04-19 and today.

📸 I have committed myself, in writing, to use Glass as my main photo sharing site. My reasons for doing so suddenly came to me during a shower yesterday, and I wrote them down here. Now I just have to back up my public words with actions, and add photos to my admittedly small profile. Easy enough, right?

☦️ Today is Pascha, or Easter. There are traditional greetings for Pascha, all of which translate to, "Christ is risen!" "Truly, He is risen!" You can pick a language, and likely find a translation of the Paschal Greeting. Yes, even Klingon: Hu’ta’ QISt! Hu’bejta’!

✅ Here's a public reminder to myself that I should catch up on my Doctor Who backlog.
